I already wrote about my new RX-Q helmet, but I also received an Easy Wheeler and motolights for my birthday. Here's a picture - the Easy Wheeler is under the back wheel and the motolights are installed:

I read the instructions for the Triumph accessory lights and decided to use the three wire connector in the headlight housing for all connections instead of running the main leads back to the battery. The connector is meant to run accessory lights and is fused. This worked well and saved the hassle of running wires under the gas tank.

The Easy Wheeler is really nice. A portable drill with a 1/2" socket is used to spin the tire. The Easy Wheeler is expensive, but turning the back wheel without a drill would be nearly impossible (Thatch might be able to do it, but he's a gorilla). Even moving the front wheel without the drill is not easy. One of the guys on this forum indicated that would be the case in another post.

Anyway, polishing the wheels was easy with this device - especially now that I have bags.

Haven't had the bike out at night yet, so I can't comment on the motolights. I did get the 50watt lights so it will be interesting to see the difference.

EnGage, bike looks great! (nice helmet too) I'm jealous of the Easy Wheeler, for sure. Those Motolights are halogen, correct? Did you look at the Clearwater LEDs? They are both pretty pricey at $475+ for the Clearwater and $360+ for the motos. My guess is the Clearwaters are brighter than the Motos, but not sure if that matters since the halogens are probably plenty bright. Do the Motos have a dimmer? Also, how do you like the shield? That's a mid right? How obtrusive are the brackets without the shield on? Is it easy to take on and off? Sorry for all the questions!

Not likely to die of natural causes. At least I hope not.

I like the idea of that Easy Wheeler
I think I'll look into one of those for this coming season.

Those additional lights are my cup of tea, but the Helmet is fantastic!

Nice pics Engage - thanks!

btw - you're slacking... What are those leaves doing creeping into the garage! Tidy up!

I didn't consider the Clearwater LEDs. I like that they are LED, but I like the look of the Motolights better. They blend into the bike.

The motos do not have a dimmers, just a switch, which I didn't use - I wired them to the aux light switch on the bike.

My shield is the tall one. It is easy to take off if you grab at the top. Grabbing the middle of the screen will not removed it.

The brackets are a bit obtrusive:

The Easy Wheeler is great, but if any one else gets one keep in mind that the wheel needs to be relatively square on the device or it will walk to either side. It comes with a strap to hold the handle bars in place and it is easy to adjust the front wheel by changing the strap. With the back, you have to be more precise, but after playing with it a few times, its pretty straight forward.
